The two year enforced sabbatical has ended and we are travelling again.

Mar/Apr 2022

We have just returned from sailing up and down the Sea of Cortez in Mexico and visiting several of the isolated desert islands on the way. The sea is over 1000km long and the trip took three weeks at sea, ending back at La Paz. The weather was a little unusual with cool winds and overcast at times. The region in Mar/ Apr is normally very warm and sunny. The wildlife was a little slow at times but proved spectacular as the trip progressed. We traveled with Blue Whales, Humpback Whales, Pilot Whales , Fin Whales, Bottle Nosed and Common Dolphins. A rare sight was a very large fishball with hundreds of Pelicans and Boobies 'raining' from the sky. A long session of Humpback breaching completed the amazing sightings.

We have recently returned from Zambia. This was a new country for us and proved to one of our best wildlife trips. The journey include South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi. The people were wonderful and the forested land alongside the Luangwa and Zambezi rivers was stunning.
