Thank you for visiting my collection of wildlife and landscape images. The photographs reflect my travels over the last few years and my interest in nature.

Wildlife photography often needs help from others. I am grateful to all the guides around the world who have shared their time, expertise and enthusiasm for these creatures. Without the support and often the protection of guides, these images would not have been possible.

I hope you enjoy the gallery.

Our first trip of last year was to the the Lofoten Islands in Northern Norway. These beautiful islands lie just north of the Arctic Circle. The popular time to photograph this area is in winter. May is not a conventional time but produced crisp clear mornings with stunning colours and some snow on the mountains. Almost no tourists and very few photographers meant we had the beaches and villages to ourselves. The downside is that some cafes and shops are not open until June.

Our summer trip 2018 was back to Vancouver Island following wolf tracks on the deserted beaches and watching bears and Orcas. This year we are back in Norway and Canada with a possible trip to Zambia in 2020.

The current front cover is an image from my village in winter snow.
