My wife Ann is the planner in our team. These are just some of her projects.

2007
Dominica and Martinique. This is a wonderful area for hummingbirds and whales (one extreme to another). The trip included breaching Sperm Whales and many varieties of dolphins.

In the Spring we visited Kenya. This was our first time on a safari but not the last. We completed some 24 game drives, each of around 6 hours, from the Masai Mara to Samburu in the north. This was hard on the back and the equipment but the wildlife was superb.

August found us in Canada's West Coast Rain Forest watching Grizzly Bears. This time watching bears in the sedge grass prior to the salmon run. This is a good time to get close to the bears by boat without disturbing them.

2008
Spring in the Sea of Cortez was unusual with high winds and rain. The aim was to photograph the Blue Whale and this proved to be a very good year. The memory of sitting in a small boat in the moonlight with the sound of Blue Whales breathing all around was unforgetable.

Sept 08 - It is back to the Masai Mara. This has been a very good month for big cats but with very mixed weather. My favourite was a couple of Serval Kittens emerging from their den.

2010 - It's back to Canada and a search for the White Spirit Bear of the Great Bear Rain Forest in British Columbia. This is a rare bear living in a very special forest.

2011 This year we will be back in our old favourites the Orcas in British Columbia, Canada. Despite a short visit, the Orcas entertained us with some very good breaches.

2012 Our plan is to visit the tropical rain forest for the first time. The humidity may be a shock after the temperate rain forest of Canada. The destination is the Osa Peninsula in Cost Rica.
